Backup/Synchronization window
1 Start Elements Organizer, and in the Welcome screen, sign in with your Adobe ID. If you are not a registered user,
click Create New Adobe ID to register yourself with Adobe.
Ensure that you are online before you proceed to backup/synchronize your files.
2 Choose an option from the Backup/Synchronization dialog box.
Yes - Turn It On For Me Enables you to set your entire catalog for Backup/Synchronization. All your videos and photos
are securely synchronized with your online account.
Yes - But Show Me The Advanced Settings Enables you to set advanced Backup/Synchronization settings in the
Preferences dialog.
No - Leave It Off. I Don’t Want To Protect My Photos And Videos Enables you to not back up and synchronize your
videos and photos.
Note: Click Remind Me Later, if you do not want to enable Backup/Synchronize now and prefer to enable it in the future.
3 Select the required option and follow the onscreen instructions to enable Backup/Synchronization.

About backed up/synchronized media files
After backing up/synchronizing your media files, it is possible to edit, add, or delete media files in the Photoshop.com
server. Keep in mind that Elements
Organizer backs up/synchronizes media files backed up to the Photoshop.com
server with the corresponding files on your computer. If you edit to a media file on your computer, the backed up
media file on the Photoshop.com server is updated with those edits. Likewise, if you edit a media file on
Photoshop.com, the corresponding media file on your computer is updated with those edits. The edited version of the
media file is downloaded and added in your catalog as a version set of the originally backed-Up/synchronized file.
When you add media files, edit media files, or delete media files on your computer, Elements Organizer backs
up/synchronizes your albums and catalogs on the Photoshop.com server.
Note: If you remove a media file from an album on your computer but don’t delete it from the catalog, the media file
remains on the Photoshop.com server.
